MASSAGE Aromatherapy, Thai Yoga #01

Aromatherapy and Massage

After a thorough medical history is taken, a tailor-made massage is given with specially selected essential oils to suit your specific requirements. The massage techniques and the essential oils work in synergy; whilst the massage targets the various bodily systems, particularly those of the the nervous, muscular, lymphatic in a physical way, the essential oils further enhance the massage by being absorbed through the skin to have their own specific effects. Aftercare advice may include the use of these essential oils in various ways at home (e.g. in a bath, body lotion, or steam). It is recomended that the first consultation be 1 1/2 hours duration, so as to be able to fit in the consultation followed by a massage.

    Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage or ‘Lazy Man’s Yoga’ is a strong, rhythmic body treatment. Carried out on the floor, it uses palming, pulsating and yogic stretches. It is based on the Indian yoga philosophy, where the energetic body is perceived as made up of many Sen (energy lines). Blockages in these leads to imbalance and disease. TYM works on the most important of these Sen (energy lines), freeing the flow of energy through them, thus restoring optimal health. Loose clothing must be worn. Digestion, endocrine, immunity and general wellbeing are improved, aswell as the obvious benefits of musculature being released and relaxed.
